Moved back to flat HTML
Soooo, I decide to move back to flat HTML, really got tired of maintaining a web application. I was using Ghost CMS… but I wanted something even slimmer, and something I can move anywhere if I choose to jump from AWS to some other VPS… what easier than flat HTML. Right now this is running on the bare server… I’ll probably update this thing over time so that it’s running in either Docker or Kubernetes, then it’ll be even easier to jump around as I won’t have to setup my dev environment again. I don’t have to worry about securing the admin interface either… I just use SSH to update my posts. Sounds like a lot, but I don’t post THAT often for it to be that big of a deal for me to SSH in to do post updates.
Well, I’ll be doing this for now. It’ll also force me to learn more web development, I still have other projects that’ll force me to make web applications. Maybe I’ll add on additional things to this site that utilizes a web application on the backend.
